[1] letterhead. 22x27.5 cm. Approbation for a new edition of the work of Rabbi Shlomo Cohen of Vilna. The letter is typewritten with Rav Shach's signature.
HaRav Shach (1898-2002) was the leader of the Lithuanian community for close to thirty years. He transmitted the traditions of the Lithuanian yeshiva world before the Holocaust to the yeshivot in Eretz Yisrael. He was the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh and author of the Avi Ezri series.
