His eldest son, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch [who was Av Beit Din and Rav of Klausenburg in Austria and Rav in Berdichev, a response from him is printed in his father's book on page 162], printed in Koritz his writings, which include responsa and Halakhic innovations and issues in the book 'Divrei Rav Meshulam.' The book received approbations from Rabbi Zvi Hirsch, Av Beit Din in Brod, and from Rabbi Abraham Mordechai Av Beit Din Zolkiew, author of 'Tiferet Tzvi.'

Rabbi Samuel Heller (1740–1802):
He served as the rabbi and leader of the Ashkenazi community in Safed for over forty years and was one of the great leaders of the Hasidim in Israel.
