Silver Trompe L'Oeil Cigar Box, Moscow, Russia, 1885.
Of rectangular form, the hinged cover and sides are chased and engraved to simulate wood grain, tax band and a manufacturer's label reading - H. Upmann, Colorado Maduro.
Gilt interior.
Marked (both cover and base) with Russian silver marks (84 standard), Moscow city mark, dated 1885, maker's mark - AT.
