Paul Wilhelm Keller-Reutlingen was a German landscape and genre painter. From 1862 to 1868 Keller attended the Reutlinger Realschule and from 1868 to 1872 he learned the profession of xylograph from Adolf Closs in Stuttgart. From 1872 to 1873 he studied at the Stuttgart Art School with Bernhard von Neher and from 1873 to 1874 he was a student of Otto Seitz at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich. He then attended the painting class of Professor Carl von Haberlin in Stuttgart until 1875.
In the years 1875 to 1876 he did military service in Ulm and then traveled to Italy, where he visited Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples and Capri until 1879. He settled in Furstenfeldbruck. On November 15, 1898 he married the actress Albertine Wetzel. In 1899 he was appointed professor. In 1902 Keller moved back to Munich.
From 1893 he was a founding member of the Munich Secession and took part in exhibitions at the Munich Glass Palace, the Secession and the Great Berlin Art Exhibition.
