ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI ERA CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE
An antique Japanese, late Meiji period, enamel over brass vase. The vase has an amphora shaped body and a fluted neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of a crane in bamboo trees made in the Cloisonne technique. The base of the ware is adorned with a geometrical ornament made in the same technique.
