ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI ERA SILVER WIRE ENAMEL VASE
An antique Japanese, late Meiji period, silver wire enamel vase. The vase has a sphere shaped body and a tall fluted neck. The ware is enameled with a polychrome image of birds over waves made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the ware are adorned with polychrome geometrical and drop ornaments made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
