A letter from Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil, secretary of the Rebbe Rabbi Klonimus Kalman Shapira Rabbi of Piaseczno. Written on an official letter postcard of the Rebbe of Piaseczno, Av 1934
The letter is addressed to Rabbi Moshe Herzog of Tel Aviv, in which he inquires about his well-being on behalf of the Rebbe: "...it is a great surprise to the Rebbe, that you have not written for some years. That's why I ask you to immediately write your peace and the peace of all the members of your household that they may live, and God will help you... Your friend Shmuel Zanvil secretary".

המכתב מוען אל הרב משה הרצוג מתל אביב, בו מתעניין בשלומו בשם האדמו"ר: "...פלא מאד לכ"ק הה"צ אדמו"ר מרן שליט"א, שלא כתבת זה איזה שנים. לכן הנני מבקשך שתכתוב תיכף משלומך ושלום כל ב"ב [בני ביתך] שיחיו, ויעזור ד' ותבשר ב"ט. כ"ד ידידך שמואל זנוויל משב"ק".
