Tzemach Tzedek - Answers of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Nikelsberg, Fyorda 1766 - Ownership records
Signature of ownership 'Meir..' and below it another signature.
Rabbi Menachem Mendel Krumchal from Nikleshburg (c. 1600 – 1661) Rabbi Yoel Sirkish's student.
In 1648 he began serving as rabbi of Niklesburg and the area, until his death. He amended many regulations throughout Moravia in matters of community leadership and taxation.
Among his regulations was a regulation to prevent the expropriation of fish prices, not to buy fish for a period of time until the prices are lowered.
He chaired the assembly in Dreznitz in the year 1659 in which he stood in favor of the poor and opposed the heads of the communities and the rich.
He also worked on the issue of Agunot after the riots of Tach VeTat.
was a great responder. One of his famous answers is regarding "Jewish blood is not wasted" - and the need for the community to participate in the expenses in order to bring murderers of Jews on national and religious grounds to the state court.
He was in correspondence: with the author of the Tosfot Yom Tov Rabbi Yom Tov Hellir. Rabbi David Halevi Segal, Rabbi Aharon Shimon Shapira rabbi of Prague and Bohemia, and Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil author of Maginei Shlomo.

Good condition. Fine damp marks. A few worming marks, on the back cover and on the last page a single mark. Slight wear on the edges of the pages. Cover worn, loose - no spine.

חתימת בעלות 'מאיר..' ומתחתיה חתימה נוספת.
רבי מנחם מנדל קרומכל מניקלשבורג [ה'ש"ס - ב' בשבט ה'תכ"א] תלמיד הב"ח, רבי יואל סירקיש.
בשנת ת"ח החל לכהן כרבה של ניקלשבורג והגלילות, עד לפטירתו. תיקן תקנות רבות ברחבי מוראביה בענייני הנהגת הקהילות וענייני מיסוי.
בין תקנותיו הייתה תקנה למניעת הפקעת מחירי הדגים, שלא לקנות למשך תקופה דגים עד שיורידו את המחירים.
עמד בראש האספה בדרז'ניץ בשנת תי"ט בה התייצב לטובת העניים והתנגד לראשי הקהילות והעשירים.
כמו כן פעל בנושא התרת עגונות לאחר פרעות ת"ח ות"ט.
היה משיב גדול. אחת התשובות המפורסמות שלו היא בנוגע ל"דם יהודי אינו הפקר" - והצורך להשתתפות הקהילה בהוצאות על מנת להביא רוצחי יהודים על רקע לאומי ודתי לבית המשפט של המדינה.
עמד בקשרי מכתבים: עם בעל התוספות יום טוב, רבי יום טוב העליר. בעל הט"ז, רבי דוד הלוי סגל. רבי אהרן שמעון שפירא רבה של פראג ובוהמיה, ורבי יהושע העשיל , בעל מגיני שלמה.
קצח דף.
מצב טוב. סימני רטיבות עדינים. סימני תילוע אחדים, בכריכה האחרוית ובדף האחרון סימן בודד. בלאי קל בקצוות הדפים. כריכה בלויה, רופפת-ללא שדרה.
