Tiyul BaPardes by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich - printed in the midst of the years of the 2nd world war, with extensive reference to the situation in its introduction. And a song of prayer to save Israel from its enemies hand. Shamluya 1942.

The book deals with matters of mitzvos and Torah verses in the ways of Pshat and Sod according to the order of the letters. At the beginning of the book there is a introduction called "Pitcha Zeira", which deals with matters of the situation and the war.

In his words he refers to the matter of printing this book in these difficult days "and all we have is this lovable and precious Torah and regardless of the greatness of the troubles that will surround us on all sides still we dwelve in our holy Torah and help the to publish new books, books of wisdom and knowledge. In this we show the greatness of the love of the Torah among us and the rights of the love of the Torah will protect us so that we may see the joy of Israel and may God have mercy on us soon".

הספר עוסק בענייני המצוות ופסוקי התורה בדרך פשט וסוד ערוך לפי סדר אותיות א-ב. כאשר בפתח הספר הקדמתו בשם "פתחא זעירא", העוסקת בענייני המצב והמלחמה המשתוללת:

בדבריו מתייחס לעניין הדפסת הספר בימים קשים אלו "ואין לנו שיור רק התורה הזאת החביבה והיקרה ואנחנו בגודל הצרות אשר יקיפו אותנו מכל צד עכ"ז אנו משתעשעים בתורתינו הקדושה ומסייעים שיצא לאור עולם ספרים חדשים ספרי חכמה ודעת בזה אנו מראין גודל אהבת התורה שבקרבינו וזכות אהבת התורה"ק תגן עלינו שנזכה לראות בשמחת ישראל וירחם ה' עלינו במהרה בקרוב".

בסיום הקדמתו כותב המחבר ממעמקי לבו שיר זעקה ליושב מרומים

אקרוסטיכון הבתים מסודרים לפי שמו "שלמה זלמן".
