Shanah Tovah Letter Addressed to a Torah Teacher; "And Success in [your] Influence on [your] Students" Written and Signed in the Hand of the Admo"r of Lubavitch
The letter was sent towards the end of Elul 1951, to a Torah teacher named R' Abba. The Rebbe increases his blessings: "Towards the new year approaching us and the entire Jewish nation for good and for blessing, I hereby express my blessing to be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year materially and spiritually together. With blessing."
Here the rabbi adds two lines full of blessings for success in teaching Torah, in his own hand: "May you be successful in your influence on your students in the Talmud Torah, in fear of Heav-n, to illuminate them with the light of Torah and in the light that is in the Torah."
The Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson [1902-1994] was the seventh leader in the dynasty of Admo"rs of Lubavitch. He served as Admo"r from 1951 until his passing. He was a tremendous genius in all realms of Torah, and his net was - and still is - cast across the entire world.
