Set of Chumashim: Heichal HaBerachah - Komárno, Lvov, 1864-1874. First Edition. Segulah Book
Set of chamishah chumshei Torah with kabbalistic-Chassidic commentaries: Heichal HaBerachah and Otzar HaChaim by the Admo"r Rabbi Yitzchak Yehudah Yechiel Safrin of Komárno. First edition printed by the author in his lifetime. Segulah for protection.
This chumash, with its special kabbalistic-Chassidic commentary was printed by the author himself, and the printing took 10 years. The book is considered one of the foundational books of Chassidic thought and kabbalistic doctrine, and was very beloved to Chassidic leaders of all circles, who ascribed extreme importance to it.
The Admo"r promises in his letter "I promise that anyone who has [this] chumash in his home will be saved from all evil and injury, from disease and lack, and that his home will be full of Hash-m's blessing and all good and success, wealth and long life, for him and his children."
The Admo"r Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Yehudah Yechiel of Komárno [1806-1874] was a nephew and primary disciple of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zhidichov - "Sar Beit HaZohar," and a disciple of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel of Apta [the 'Ohev Yisrael'] and of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, who profusely praised him. Aside from being one of the most prominent Admo"rs of his generation, whose authority many accepted, he was also famous as a wonder-worker, and he was renowned for his tremendous genius in the revealed - and particularly the hidden - aspects of Torah; he authored works on both the revealed and the hidden, and was also an acting rabbi in Zhidichov and Komárno.
