The author called his work Leket HaKema"ch, which is an abbreviation of his name: הק'טן מ'שה ח'גיז.
Rabbi Moshe Chagiz [1772 - after 1850], known as HaMenia"ch, was a Jerusalem sage of the 18th century and a leader of the fight against Sabbateanism.
