The Conciliator by Menachem Ben-Israel, first edition translated into English, London, 1842. In this book, Menashe Ben-Israel elucidates hundreds of apparent contradictions in biblical verses. The book was written primarily for Christian scholars with the intent to bringing them closer to the wisdom of the Jews and to reduce the foreignness of Jews. The book was printed for the first time in 1632 in Spanish. This is its first translation in to English.
