Nefesh Ada"m by Rabbi Avraham Moshe David Kroiz. Kabbalistic elucidations on the commandments. Munkacs 1906 [2] 16 leaves. Bound with:

Asarah Devarim by Rabbi Yehudah Sega"l Kroiz. "To elucidate the saying in the first chapter of Bava Batra, "R' Yehudah would say: Ten difficult things were created in the world." Munkacs 1906. [2] 16 [1] leaf. Fine condition. Old binding.

Owner's notation on the flyleaf: "This book belongs to the rabbi of Berch," and "This book belongs to the righteous holy rabbi, wonder of the generation ... Rabbi Shapira shlit"a of Berch."

The Admor Rabbi Mordechai Shapira of Berch [1870-1944] was son of the Admor Rabbi Tzvi Elimelech of Berch, grandson of the author of Bnei Yissachar, founder of Dinov Chassidut. He succeeded his father as Admor, and was killed in the Holocaust.
