Bigdei Aharon by Rabbi Aharon Teumim av”d Worms and Krakow. Printed by his son, Rabbi Yehuda Leib Teumim, dayan in Frankfurt A.M. Frankfurt A.M. [1710]. Only edition. [2], 40, 21, 20, 15, 11 [should say: 18] leaves. 30 cm. Illustrated title page – mimics the famed title page of Shu”t HaBach. Very rare. The author was Rabbi of Krakow. The community owed money to the mayor of the city. His messengers captured the rabbi and beat him cruelly until he died (refer to “Klilat HaYofi”, Rabbi Chaim Nathan Dembitzer). Old, cardboard binding. Blemishes to the title page. Worming holes, primarily to the blank margins. Moderate-fine condition.
