Collection of Four Amulets from the 20th Century
* Ink on parchment amulet. Protection for a home and its inhabitants, incantations, angels' names, and Divine names. 6x7 cm. Stains, fine condition.
* Handwritten amulet: Chart with kabbalistic marks, incantations. Maximal length and width: 9x11 cm. Light marginal tears, fine condition.
* Printed Jerusalem amulet, abundant pictures. Protection from epidemic, fire, harm, evil eye, bad decree, sorcery and everything bad. Cure for illnesses of the nerves, weakness of the body and limbs, children's disease, and all types of pain and suffering. Jerusalem, early 20th century.
Printed leaf with many combinations of Divine names, angels' names, kabbalistic illustrations, illustrations of the holy sites, and incantations. 33x23 cm. Worn margins, fold marks, short tears, stains. Moderate-fine condition.
The National Library has an amulet for protection against fire and for a woman after childbirth, with similar charts and illustrations but different texts.
