Magnificent Silver Buckle, Large Dimensions. Ottoman Empire, 19th Century?
Gilt silver buckle, impressive and ceremonial, decorated with three stars of David. Exceptional craftsmanship.
Silver buckle, comprised of "three" decorated parts, where the left - center part is welded together, so it is actually one part. In the center of each one of the three parts there is a gilt star of David, with a relief of a flower with silver bands and an inlaid gemstone.
To close the belt, the parts of the belt have a hook and ring behind them. 33x16 cm.
Fine condition: Dents, crack across the entire width of the gemstone in the center of the buckle, welding repair on the reverse.
