Manuscript of Practical Kabbalah. Ashkenaz, 18th-19th Century

"I will bring upon you an oath [פוּתַהּ] and from the minister of forgetfulness [א-ג-ף נ-ג-ף ס-ג-ף] that you remove a foolish heart from me, and all difficult illness ..." (one of the oaths)

Rare and unique Kabbalistic manuscript including Kabbalistic segulahs, incantations and oaths for angels, for the purpose of success in Torah study and remembering what has been studied. Beautiful clear Ashkenazic script. The sacred Names are written in vowelized block script, and the instructions are in cursive. [Germany, 18th-19th century.]

This is the complete manuscript. It spans two pages and includes approximately fifteen practical Kabbalistic segulahs with the power to bring supernatural success in Torah study and prevention of forgetting what has been studied. It is worth noting that Ashkenazic manuscripts of practical Kabbalah are rare compared to the Oriental manuscripts.

[1] leaf paper written on both sides. 34x20 cm. Rabbinic signature in the margins of the second leaf.

Moderate-fine condition. Aging stains. Fold marks. Slight tears in the folds and in the margins.
