Beautiful letter with blessings entirely [16 lines] handwritten and signed by the renowned gaon Rabbi Gedalyahu HaLevi Schorr, among the leading geonim of his generation and rosh yeshivah of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath and Beth Medrash Elyon in the United States. [Date and location not indicated in the letter.] Letters from him are rare.
As can be seen from the text of the letter, the addressees are among the gaon Rabbi Gedalyah Schorr close friends and relatives. As such, the letter is filled with lyrical blessings: "We are in the West and our hearts are in the East, " followed by his signature at the end, in his name and in his wife's name.
