Specifications: Early Prophets. 1544 [!]: 501 pages. Chronicles, 1543: 180 pages. Ezra [with Nechemiah], 1541: 71 pages. 21 cm. Separate title page for each section.
Background: Nice, significant edition of the Bible that was printed in Paris, the largest city in France, by Robertus Stephanus, known as the "Printer to the King." Hebrew and Latin title pages. Just a few years later, he printed the Tanach in a small format. This is the larger format.
Condition: Very fine. Old, chafed, loose leather binding.
