Prayer service for the days of Simchat Torah and Chupat Neurim, for ritual circumcisions, the service for the circumcisions and immersions of slaves and converts, for Passover, Purim and Yom HaTeru'ah, Selichot avon b'Yom HaKippurim, per the custom of the people of Singali. Amsterdam, 1769. Lacking the title page.

Including: the service of hymns and pizmonim for Simchat Torah, the wedding ceremony, havdalah, hymns for the day of circumcision, Purim, Passover, and Seder Selichot for the high holidays.

There are 35 leaves of details of the wedding ceremony, the rites under the chuppah and the days of Sheva Berachot. With handwritten comments.


'Singali' is Kodungallur, on the Malabar coast of India (in the province of Kerala) in which Jew began to settle in the 14th century. They later moved from there to Cochin. Despite this, their prayer services maintained the name 'Minhag Singali.'
