16 Shana Tova postcards depicting Jewish customs and Biblical scenes - various places and years of print, start of the 20th century.
Postcards printed in various locations: London, Vienna, Germany, Krakow, Prussia and Palestine. Includes two postcards with illustrations of "Tashlich"; lighting the Chanuka candles; synagogue Holy Ark. Postcards with Biblical scenes: "Nachamu Nachamu Ami", Moshe and the burning bush; Paraoh and Moses, Abraham and the three angels; Joshua and the Jordan; King Solomon; Daniel in the lions' den; blowing the shofar; reading from the Torah. Also includes a postcard of the synagogue in Zerkow [Prussia], depicting the interior and exterior of the synagogue, and a lithograph postcard from Palestine with the Western Wall and other sites, with the Hebrew text: "Birchat Zion V'Shalom al Yisrael."
