Volume of Seder Moed from the Talmud Yerushalmi. Tractates: Yuma, Shekalim, Sukkah, Rosh HaShanah, Beitzah, Ta'anit, Meggilah, Chagigah. Printed by Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, Zhitomir, 1862. Copy that belonged to the 'Hitorerut Teshuvah' of Erlau.
Owner's signature at the top of the title page written by Rabbi Shimon Sofer, av beit din of Erlau and beloved son of the Ktav Sofer, "LaHashem HaAretz U'Melo'ah, the youth Shimon son of the gaon Sh. B. Sofer." On Tractate Megillah page 10b, the following appears in a handwritten gloss: "Look into this more in Shu"t Chata"m Sofer section 8." The gloss refers to his grandfather, the Chata"m Sofer, where he deals with the same topic (see the enclosed photocopy).
