Sefer Mavoh Petachim. Amsterdam, 1736. Copy that Belonged to the Admo"r Rabbi Nachum Dovber of Sadigura, and the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler

Sefer Mavoh Petachim - compilation of Kabbalistic concepts that appear in the Ar"i's Kabbalah, divided alphabetically. Compiled by the gaon Rabbi Yosef Irgas, one of the most prominent rabbis and Kabbalists of Italy at the beginning of the 18th century. The book was originally printed together with his important work Shomer Emunim in Amsterdam, 1736. However, here it is bound on its own.
The Admo"r and renowned collector Rabbi Menachem Dovber of Sadigura's signature and stamp appear on the title page, "Bought with my funds, Nachum Dovber Friedman." In the internal part of the front binding, there is a signature of one of the most prominent mussar personalities, Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler.
The last page bears a short gloss in Italian script.
The Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Nachum Dov of Sadigura [1843-1883], was the owner of a large library, and he stamped his books according to their source. In this book, there is another stamp - 'Kinyan Kaspi, ' indicating that he bought this book in order to study it.
Rabbi Eliyahu Eliezer Dessler [1892-1954] was a student of the Kelm study hall, from a family that founded the study hall, and he was one of the leaders of the mussar movement. He served as a rabbi in England and at the Ponovezh yeshivah in Bnei Brak. He authored the book Michtav MiEliyahu.
