On the back of the title page: On the occasion of the 50th birthday of the head of the community, Mordechai Dubin, Agudah Youth-Riga. With his picture on the protective leaf. R' Mordechai Dubin was a member of the Latvian legislature on behalf of Agudat Yisrael, and was known as the "Sar HaChessed." He was very active in obtaining the release of the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Yizchak of Lubavitch from his imprisonment.
On the title page: Published with the efforts of the HaReferent L'Inyanei Haskalat HaYehudim Ch. M. I. Chadkov. Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Isaac Chadkov was later head of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson's office and chairman of Merkos L'Inyonei Chinuch.
