Birkei Yosef on the four parts of Shulchan Aruch by Rabbeinu Chaim Yosef Azoulay - the Chid"a. Four parts bound together with separate title pages. Vienna, 1859. The Sdei Chemed's personal stamp appears in the title page in Hebrew and in a foreign language: "The youth Chaim Chizkiyahu Medini known as Chacha"m"
Personal copy of the author of Sdei Chemed, who resolved thousands of halachic inquiries; these responsa spread across the world. As is known, the book Birkei Yosef was constantly on the Sdei Chemed's desk; he mentions it hundreds of times in his books. Page 1b in the first pagination bears a one-word handwritten gloss.
