Pri Ari Zuta - composition on the Torah by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Tartchiner Cordovero, a rabbi in Zamoshtch. Wilhermdorf, 1720. First edition. Uncommon book. Large number of important approbations. Leaf 37 features a handwritten gloss.
In the beginning of the book, the author writes about his life and his hardships. He also mentions a tragedy that occurred in his community, Tartchin, in 1691: "Our sacred and glorious house went up in flames; the fire consumed our entire city from one end to the other, due to our many iniquities."

Inter alia, he writes "Looking forward to ascending to Jerusalem, " and indeed he did manage to fulfill this desire, and succeeded in ascending to the Land of Israel.
