Australian Jewish Historical Society - Volume Including the First Ten issues, with an Index for the First Decade. Sydney, 1939-1943
The first [10] issues published by the Australian Jewish Historical Society, from 1939 to 1943. The volume includes an index listing the writers who contributed to the issues from the first decade of the journal's existence (until 1939). These issues contain much information and many photographs. Between the first two issues, there is another booklet printed: Report of the Committee of the York Street (Sydney) Synagogue, which was reprinted for the Historical Society and distributed to its members on the occasion of 50 years since the synagogue's opening (1944).
21 cm, 380 pp (not including the additional booklet and the title pages of each issue).
Fine-very fine condition, with Shalom BenTziyon Gurevitz's ex-libris.
