Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was the Rishon L'Tzion, Nasi Moetzet Chachmei HaTorah and leader of observant Sephardic Jewry for decades.
* Letter from Rabbi Eliezer Yehudah Waldenberg, author of the Tzitz Eliezer, sent to Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbuch of Antwerp. [1987]. In his hand and with his signature and stamp.
Rabbi Eliezer Waldenberg was a member of the Beit Din HaRabbani HaGadol and was noted for his halachic series, the Shu"t Tzitz Eliezer.

Rabbi Pinchas Hirschsprung was a prominent disciple of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, where he was famed for his genius. He later became Chief Rabbi of Montreal and a prominent North American rabbi.
