216 leaves, 20.5 cm. Large composition with seventeen homilies regarding the Thirteen Principles of Faith. Poems at the start and finish. Two years later, the author composed a work on Genesis - a quasi-continuation of this work. This copy includes the poems that were printed at its end, on one side of the leaf.The author was an Aleppo sage born in 1558. He references works of the Arizal.Owner stamps: Shmuel HaKohen Brodye Maggid, Jerusalem.
New, half-leather and marbleized paper binding. The title page and first leaves have been professionally restored, with light blemishes. Minimal aging stains. Fine-very fine condition.
