229 [18] leaves, 28 cm. With the verses of the book of Ecclesiastes.
A large work that contains two commentaries on the book of Ecclesiastes; some of the commentaries take a philosophical approach. On the last leaf is an approbation from the rabbis of Venice. The author was a rabbi in Salonika and Constantinople who moved to Venice, and he published the book in his lifetime. He died in 1629. On page 16 is a geometrical drawing.
New cover. Moth holes and reinforcements, mainly in the white margins. Aging stains. On pages 17-68 are tears and reinforcements in the upper corner with slight damage to the text on a number of pages. Moderate condition.
