החלק הראשון כולל חיבור תורני נרחב. החלק השני כולל קורות חייו ועדויות שונות עם דברי הספד.
ברוך גולדשטיין - (תשי"ז - תשנ"ד) היה רופא תושב קריית ארבע שהרג ופצע מתפללים מוסלמים רבים במעשה טרור הידוע כ"טבח מערת המכפלה". המוסלמים השתלטו עליו והרגו אותו. מעשה הרצח, הנחשב לאירוע הקשה ביותר בתולדות הטרור היהודי בישראל, זעזע את החברה הישראלית.
