Long Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss of Bonyhád – 1880
Lengthy letter of chiddushei Torah from Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss of Bonyhad, to Rav Menachem Eliyahu Goitein, Av Beis Din of העדיאס.
Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss, disciple of Rav Shmuel Ehrenfeld, Av Beis Din of Mattersdorf, was a giant in Torah and, as it seems from this letter, was a moreh horaah in Bonyhad [quote from his letter: "with the burden of the community, light and heavy questions"]. Torah novellae from him have been printed in "Vayilkat Yosef". [Rav M.A.Z. Kinstelicher, Kehillas Bonyhad Vechachameha, Chodesh Bechodsho (2003) page 90]
