Letter from Rav Moshe Gavriel of Leszno, Av Beis Din of חאדזיש from 5615 (1855).
Friendly letter, consisting mostly of Divrei Torah. In letter margins are comments on the author's Torah question, in the receiver's handwriting and his signature (Rav Dov Berel Shapira).
Rav Moshe Gavriel of Leszno: Although originally from Leszno, he resided in גריידיץ in 5580 (see list of subscribers at end of sefer 'Hayad HaChazakah'). He served as AB"D of Nowe Miasto Lubawskie and afterward was AB"D in חאדזיש in the Poznań district. Serving in this position before him was Rav Gedalya Lifshitz, father of Rav Yisrael Lifshitz- author of 'Tiferes Yisrael' on the Mishna. An approbation from him appears in a Tehillim with the Arugas HaBosem and Be'er Mayim commentaries (Konigsberg, 5616).
