Mishnah and Talmud. Lechem Shamayim. Rav Zvi Hirsch Levin. Berlin, 1734. With rare portrait.
Pirkei Avos, with the Lechem Shamayim commentary of the Yaavetz and chiddushei hagahot of Rav Zvi Hirsch [Levin, Berlin] with a portrait.
Rav Zvi Hirsch Berlin wrote hagahos on the Lechem Shamayim of his uncle, the Yaavetz, with his own chiddushim, however he did not print them during his lifetime. Rav Zvi Hirsch Berlin - Levin [1721-1800] was the grandson of the Chacham Zvi and nephew of the Yaavetz. He was the Rav of Berlin and a prominent Ashkenazic rav in his time.
Frontispiece portrait of Rav Zvi Hirsch Berlin. The printer writes, "At the start of the sefer I placed a portrait engraved by an artist." This picture is missing from some known copies. This copy includes the portrait with protective tissue paper.
