"Unknown Concentration Camp" - A Rare Booklet about the Holocaust - Luxembourg 1945
Unbekanntes KZ, Erlebtes von Karl Schnog. Nummer 1 der Serie Stimmen aus dem KZ. Bourg-Bourger, Luxemburg, 1945.
Booklet No. 1 of the "Voices from the Concentration Camp" series. Written by Karl Schnog (1897-1964), a German writer of Jewish origin who was sent to Dachau, Buchenwald and Sachsenhausen camps. In this booklet he writes about his time as a prisoner in the camps, through topics such as "What do murderers look like?", "Language and humor of prisoners", "Political life in a concentration camp", "How we survived" and more. This is a very rare booklet, not found in the National Library. On the cover is a black and red illustration of a concentration camp.
German, 32 pp., 14x11 cm. Good overall condition: minor tears in the spine of the cover.
