Illustrated Ketubah on vellum, Rome [Italy], 1887.
Ketubah for the marriage of the bridegroom Shabtai Chaim David ben Yitzchak Yosef Efrati, and the bride Inrikita bas Baruch Masinay, signed by the witnesses Yitzchak ben Yehuda Miracina and Yisreol ben Yaakov Alisio. "Here, Rome, which sits on the River Tiber". 1st of Ellul, 5647 [Aug. 21,1887].
Color border, with the version of Birkas Chatanim: Blessed will be the groom and the bride as G-D blessed Adam and Chava… Avraham and Sarah… Yitzchak and Rivkah… Yaakov and Rachel and Leah… Mordechai the Tzaddik and Queen Esther”.

The text contains, after the amount of the dowry: "as seen in the contract made at the offices of..." – with the notary's name left blank.
- The Bridegroom's father, Yitzchak Yosef ben Shabtai Chaim Efrati, got married in Rome in 1859 and his Ketubah is part of the collection of rare manuscripts of the National Library.
- Two additional Ketubos signed by Yisroel ben Yaakov Alisio, from 1875 and 1881, appear in the collection of the National Library.
Minor fold marks. Some stains. Good condition.
