Yad Shaul. First Edition. Lemberg, 1851 – Important Exemplar
“Today is the day when C”K Admor, Maran of Belz Shlita will come to reside in the courtyards of Yerushalayim”. Exemplar of “Yad Shaul”, part 2 of “Yadot Nedarim” by the illustrious and renowned Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanzohn. First edition, Lemberg, 1851.
This exemplar belonged to the renowned Chossid Rabbi Mordechai David Rubin-Zweibel, the in-law of C”K Admor of Belz Shlita, from the elder Chassidim of Belz in the last generation.
He wrote inside the Sefer about several important events in the history of post-war Belz, and, indeed, the history of the revival of Chassidic Jewry in the Holy Land when C”K Admor Rabbi Aharon of Belz came to reside in Yerushalayim, establishing the Belz Yeshiva there.
He added more information on the author and his relationship with Chassidim on the back flyleaves.
