Unique Tablecloth. Persia, 1925
“All who is hungry shall eat from it and all who is thirsty will dring from it” – a unique tablecloth specially decorated with designs and writings ifor guests and in honor of the Mitzvah of receiving guests. Made in Persia in 1925.

The tablecloth is decorated with light red flowers and handsome leaves, surrounded by a text saying: “The merciful will bless this table upon which we ate and set upon it all the delicacies of the world and it shall be like the table of Avraham Avinu, all who are hungry shall eat from it and all who are thirsty shall drink from it and it shall not be wanting for any good for ever and ever amen”.

Decorated with leaves, flowers, and four stars of David with the word “Zion” and “Magen David”.

Some of the print is faded. Various stains. Some fraying at the edges. Good condition.
