Remnants of the Refugees: Letter for Convening Rabbonim in Transylvania, 1948
Special invitation sent by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Adler, Gaavad of Turda, to the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich of Şimleu Silvaniei (Shamloi), son of the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, Av Beis Din of Shamloi, calling him to an important gathering to strengthen Judaism in Transylvania. 1948.
The typed letter was sent to the leading Rabbis in Transylvania, and is signed by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Adler. Written in German transliterated into Hebrew.
The name of “The Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Ehrenreich, Av Beis Din of Shamloi” was handwritten on the typed letter.
