With stamps of the grandsons of the holy Rav of Tisa Salka - the Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi Roth Av Beis Din of Tisa Salak and with a stamp of his Rav and uncle, Rabbi Chaim Meshulam Fisch Spitzer. 


The Gaon Rabbi Meir Posner (1725-1807) one of the greatest Poskim and Meshivim of his generation, author of Sefer Beis Meir on the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch and Shitos HaShas, Av Beis Din of Mezeritch, Konigsberg and Shotland. In the approbation of the Gaon of Lviv Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanson for Sefer Beis Meir (Lviv, 1861) he writes with much appreciation that this Sefer "lives up to its name since it is enlightening ... delving into the depths of the Shas ... and I can almost say that it is unequaled among the entire commentators of the Shulchan Aruch...".


Rabbi Chaim Meshulam Fisch ben Rabbi Meir Spitzer (1876-1936) Dayan and Moreh Hora'ah of the Metesalka community and Av Beis Din of nearby villages, author of Tav Chaim of the bible. Followed the Adnorim of Spinka, the Imrei Yosef and the Chakal Yitzchak. 


The Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi ben Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Roth (1898-1958) Av Beis Din and Ram of Tisa Salka and the vicinity and Rav of the Beis Midrash of his uncle in Kleinwardein. Great-grandson of the holy Gaon Rabbi Yoel Zvi, author of Shut Beit HaYotzer. During the Holocaust, was deported to a labor camp. After the war, he moved to Brooklyn, where he served as Rav of the Kahal Beis Hayotzer Beis Midrash. 


Renewed binding, slightly worn, with gilt lettering. Stains. Taping to the edge of the title page. Good-very good condition.
