Large, impressive collection of letters by Rabbi Avraham Moshe Shlaser and his family, most of them about the marriage of his daughter Feiga to Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua ben Rabbi Yosef Asher Halevi Ish Horowitz. With the Shtar Tena'im and a copy of the Shtar. Most of them from Vienna and Stanislav, 1869-1871. 


[15] letters and documents: most of them by Rabbi Avraham Moshe Shlaser to his in-law Rabbi Yosef Asher Halevi Ish Horowitz, [1] letter by the in-law's father and brother and [2] documents - the Shtar Tena'im and its copy. Most of them from Vienna and Stanislav, 1869-1871.

Rabbi Avraham Moshe Shlaser - an honorable proprietor from Stanislav who managed a large notions store. Was a famed philanthropist who headed, alongside his sons and sons-in-law, the executive committee of the Talmud Torah of Stanislav. He met with the Divrei Chaim, citing his praise of the Chasam Sofer's knowledge of Kabbalah. 


Rabbi Yosef Asher Halevi Horowitz of Dokla - a wonderous Rav, Naggid and sage, the son of the Naggid Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Horowitz of Kolomyia, the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yehoshua Segal Horowitz. 


Appearing on some of the letters is a stamp with the inscription "BATH" and a crown. 


Fold marks. Some of the letters are with tears and blemishes, mainly to the edges. Stains. Conditions vary: fair-good.
