The basic Sefer Segulah: Magen Avraham by the holy Maggid of Trisk, printed in Warsaw in 1903, exactly like the first, Lublin 1887 edition.
On the title page, ownership signature of the Rav ישראל אלעזר שו"ב וואלגילערנטער מסטאציע מיכעוו.
The Segulah of owning the Sefer is well-known. The author in his introduction writes that having reached the age of eighty years, by virtue of the blessing that G-d had blessed Abraham, who was very old: I bless anyone who takes this Sefer that many mercies come upon him and Abraham's G-d will help you fulfill all your wishes, sons and sons of sons planted around your tables.
In the name of the holy Rav the Sefas Emes of Gur it is said that it is the duty of every Avrech, in the first year after his marriage, to pawn his Talis and Tefillin to purchase this holy Sefer.
