Document Signed by 'The Father of Hora'ah' the Gaon of Teplik

Document indicating that payment has been received, handwritten and signed by the renowned Gaon Posek the 'Tepliker Rov' Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Plonsky the 'Father of Hora'ah', Jerusalem, 1928. 

Document on lined paper, handwritten entirely and signed by the Gaon of Teplik and with the signature of the receiver of the loan, with payment stamps. 

The Gaon Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polansky "The Tepliker Rov" (1876-1948), the father of the Psak and Hora'ah tradition, one of the greatest Poskim of all generations who taught many great rabbis and Poskim.

Was born in Poland to a family, descendants of the Holy Rav Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev, the Holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz and the Holy Rav Rabbi Nachum of Chernobyl. He was educated and taught by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Blachman ("R. Alter Konstantiner"). At a young age served as Rav in several cities until he was accepted as the Rav of Teplik, where he served for about twenty years as Rav and Av Beis Din. Later, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, living in a basement apartment in the Beis Yidroel neighborhood. Was renowned as greatly knowledgeable and as a sharp Gaon. The greatest Poskim were his disciples or assistants, including Maranan Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Fischer, Rabbi David Jungreis, Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner, the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv, the Rishon LeZion teh Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef and more.
