Petach haOhel, section I: Likutim and Hakdamos for sermons bound with section II: Kelalei HaShas, by Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Yehuda Leib of Premishlan. Moshe Bloch Press, Sulzbach, [1691]. 


[1], 30 [i.e. 50]; [2], 33 leaves, 19 cm. Stamps of a yeshiva of Frankfurt am Main and owner's signatures of Rabbi Michel Shaier, Av Beis Din of Menheim. Appearing inside the binding is a list of the [12] leaders of the Frankfurt community, its [5] collectors and [3] supervisors. 


The yeshiva of Frankfurt  was established in 1890 by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Breuer, the son-in-law of the Rashar Hirsch. The yeshiva operated until it was burnt during the Kristallnacht with the synagogue and the other institutions of the community. 


Enclosed are leaves with information and references of the community leaders this list refers to: R. Wolf Oppenheim, R. Lima Hena Halevi, R. Isaac Shpier, R. Isaach Homel, R. Eliyahu Reis and to the community collector R. Isaac Shtiebel. 


Original leather binding, dismantled front binding, restoration, blemishes and gluing to the perimeter of the leaf, blemishes and gluing to the title page of section I, fair-good condition.
