Sefer Ketzos HaChoshen on Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpas [with the text], I, by the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib hacohen Heller. The press of the Rebbetzin Yehudis Rosanis, lemberg, [1788]. First edition. With "Kobtres HaSfeikos" by the author's brother, the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Hacohen. 


[2], 129; 15 leaves, 35 cm. Owner's signatures and stamps of Rabbo Noah Shlomo Reisil of Safed. 


Sefer Ketzos haChoshen by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Heller was written as an elucidation on the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpas. This Sefer, which had many editions, is one of the basic Seforim for studying Itun and Halacha in the world of yeshivas. 


The Gaon Rav and Chassid Rabbi Noah Shlomo Reisil of Safed, a descendant of Rabbi Naftali Katz. The son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Dov Horowitz Av Beis Din of Vitebsk. Served as Shochet and Bodek in Mishmar HaYarden. Passed away during World War I, in Tamuz 1916, during the days of hunger and plague in Safed. 


Worn, semi-leather binding, stains, moth damage, gluing blemish to the title page affecting the text, gluing to the edges of some leaves. Fair condition.
