Sefer Chovos HaLevavos [Sha'ar haYichud] by Rabbeinu Bahya, with the Manoach HaLevavos elucidation and two Toldos Aharon elucidations: Drech HaKodesh [by Rabbi Chaim Chaykeh ben Rabbi Aahron of Zomashtsh and Pachad Yitzchak [by his brother Rabbi Yitzchak]. With important approbations including an approbation by Rabbi Shmuel Shmelkeh Nikolsburg and Rabbi Levi Yitzchak [eventually of Berditchev] Av Beis Din of Zelichov. [Grilo Press], Frankfurt an Der Oder, [1774]. Single edition, originally incomplete.
4, 40 leaves, 20 cm. The Sefer was originally incomplete and the preface by the Pachad Yitzchak commentator was also incomplete.
The approbations include important ones by the greatest Chassidic rabbis, from [1772]: Rabbi Shmuel Shmelkeh Nikolsburg and "his leading disciple, who is similar to him" Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev [then, Av Beis Din and Ram of Zelichov]. Many ownership notations including by Moshe Katz and Ze'ev Wolf.
Worn, semi-leather binding, blemish to the title page affecting the text (completed by hand), aging stains. Blemished spine and several detached leaves, the corners of the leaves are folded. Good condition.
