'Our Yeshiva is now facing a great danger'. A historical postcard letter for saving the Grodno Yeshiva by the Rosh Yeshiva the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Shkop, handwritten and signed by him. 1925.
The postcard was sent to the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib Chashman Av Beis Din of Shtshutshin, Maran the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Chassman author of 'Or Yahel' the Rav of Shtshutshin, with a request that he welcome the emissaryy of the holy yeshiva in Grodno Rabbi Aharon Zshuravski 'to reinforce his spirit and support him with everything possible since the cost of living has increased'.
Postcard. 9X14 cm. Minor stains. Partly detached postage stamps. Blemishes to the postmarks confirming that the postcard was sent and received in Shtshutshin. Very good condition.
