Handwritten Response about a possession of a House according to the regulation of the Rabbis of Morocco, Signed by Rabbi Yehuda Ben Moyal and Rabbi Yosef Ben Atar. Essaouira , [1907]

"I was required to respond about a matter of possession (Chazaka) of Rabbi Massud Elbaz of a yard of some gentile in the city of Asfi..." Pesak Din about the possession of the yard signed by Rabbi Yehuda Ben Moyal and Rabbi Yosef Ben Atar, based on the regulations of the Rabbis of Morocco which were published in the sefer 'Kerem Chemed'. Rabbi Yehuda Ben Moyal (1828-1911), Tzaddik and Gaon Rav , renowned in his generation. Was born in Taroudant to his father Rabbi Makhluf. Grew up in Mogador and in his youth moved to Essaouira. He studied with his uncle Rabbi Yaakov Ben Shabbat. Served as Domatz of Asfi and as Rosh Yeshiva. Later he returned to Mogador and served as its Rabd until 1910. He immigrated to the Land of Israel in 1910 and passed away several months later in 1911. He was buried on the Mount of Olives. Author of the Shut 'Shevet Yehuda'.

Stains, fold marks, tears along the fold lines. Fair condition.
