Purchasing jewelry and gems: The auction house provides a description of the diamonds and gems to the best of its understanding and based on the knowledge and experience of the auction house experts. However, the auction house does not undertake to accurately describe the items in terms of stone size, color, level of cleanliness, condition (including description of defects) and whether it has undergone treatment or painting and the buyer is responsible for inspecting the diamonds and gems before sale. For the avoidance of doubt, no option will be given to cancel the purchase of jewelry, diamonds and gems or return them after purchase, even if the description does not match the item.
In this auction like the previous auctions, unsold items are not offered for direct sale after auction ends! please bid and participate during the auction!
The sale commission is 20% + VAT on the commission only. in a week time from the auction.
A fee of 5% will be added to late payments.
The dollar currency for this sale will be published on the first day of the sale (Wednesday, March 19) and will accompany the entire sale (the second part the following day).
New customers who have participated a few times in auctions will usually be approved with a limit on the amount you can offer at least initially. If you want to raise the amount or remove the limit, you are welcome to contact us by phone.

Over time and the accumulation of experience participating in auctions, customers are asked to contact us so that we can examine the increase of the amount accordingly.

You will receive the invoice for payment and then you can choose the requested shipping method.
Please note the different costs: courier delievery as well as the different registered shipping costs depending on the weight.

Buyers from abroad will receive an invoice within a business day from the end of the auction including the shipping cost for the items purchased and will be able to pay online by credit card.

Pay attention! Today the insurance for registered mail stands for a maximum coverage of up to NIS 150 in case of loss/damage. If you wish to add insurance, options will be opened accordingly at the time of payment (increment to 1000/2000 NIS - items/jewelry accordingly).
2. Courier mail for a package of reasonable size (up to 50X50X50 cm) and up to 20 kilos at a cost of only NIS 47. (Warranty and insurance according to the terms of delivery of the private company only!)
We pack to the best of our ability, as our customers know, but in any case, there is no coverage for fragile or sensitive items.
We try to get the deliveries out of the gallery within two business days at the latest. The delivery time of the items depends on the Israeli post and global post work. Each buyer who pays on delivery, will receive a detailed email with the tracking number and a link to the tracking on the mail site accordingly.

A customer who confirms the delivery of items, will take into account that the warranty will only be in the event of loss until the cost is covered by the postal services only****
In cases of complecated items and fragile items, the auction house may take an additional cost to ensure the proper packaging of the items.
With certain items, large or particularly complex items, the buyer will have to coordinate collection from the Auction House.
Clarification regarding the payment of VAT: The payment of VAT will be reduced to the customer only in the case that the customer pays to the auction house including shipping abroad. In any other case that does not include shipping abroad, the customer will have to pay VAT.

"All the letters, written by Captain Alfred Dreyfus in his own handwriting to his wife from the site of his prison, as well as all the letters he sent to her from his exile in Devils Island for four years until the last days".
The book was printed during the period in which Dreyfus was in prison on Devils Island. Name of translator from French into Hebrew is unknown.
Alfred Dreyfus (French: [alfʁɛd dʁɛfys], German: [ˈalfʁeːt ˈdʁaɪfuːs]; 9 October 1859 – 12 July 1935) was a French artillery officer of Alsatian origin and Jewish ethnicity and faith. In 1894, he fell victim to a judicial conspiracy that sparked a major political crisis during the Third Republic, known as the Dreyfus Affair (1894–1906), when he was wrongfully accused and convicted, due to antisemitism, of being a spy for the German Empire. Upon his arrest, he was sentenced to degradation and deported to the penal colony on Devil's Island to be imprisoned until his death. However, evidence emerged showing that Dreyfus was innocent and that the true culprit was a French army officer named Esterhazy. Gradual revelations indicated that the internal investigation conducted by the army was biased; Dreyfus was an ideal scapegoat because he was Jewish, and the army's high command was aware of his innocence but preferred to cover up the affair and leave him in the penal colony rather than lose face.
The scandal erupted, shaking French political life; it highlighted the connections between the French army and the political circles of the time with antisemitism. After numerous judicial and political twists, the publication of Émile Zola's manifesto, J'accuse... !, in 1898 brought new momentum to Dreyfus's cause. Zola accused the army and French political leaders of covering up the affair. Dreyfus was eventually exonerated, rehabilitated, and reinstated in the French army, although at a lower rank than his seniority would have warranted.
The anti-Dreyfusard and antisemitic factions, however, viewed this rehabilitation unfavorably, and while attending the transfer of Émile Zola's remains to the Panthéon, Dreyfus was targeted in an attack by an antisemitic militarist activist, who was later acquitted in trial, but Dreyfus survived.
He fought in World War I, notably at Verdun and the Chemin des Dames, then retired and led a quiet life. He died in 1935 in Paris and was buried in the Montparnasse Cemetery.
Alfred Dreyfus's life and the persecutions he endured because he was Jewish left a significant mark on French political consciousness; the true culprit, Ferdinand Walsin Esterhazy, remained unpunished. Among Dreyfus’s defenders were writers such as Émile Zola, Charles Péguy, and Anatole France, politicians like Georges Clemenceau and Jean Jaurès, and the founders of the Human Rights League (LDH) Francis de Pressensé and Pierre Quillard.
Devil's Island
The penal colony of Cayenne (French: Bagne de Cayenne), commonly known as Devil's Island (Île du Diable), was a French penal colony that operated for 100 years, from 1852 to 1952, and officially closed in 1953, in the Salvation Islands of French Guiana.
Opened in 1852, the Devil's Island system received convicts from the Prison of St-Laurent-du-Maroni, who had been deported from all parts of the Second French Empire. It was notorious both for the staff's harsh treatment of detainees and the tropical climate and diseases that contributed to high mortality, with a death rate of 75 percent at its worst.[1]
Devil's Island was also notorious for being used for the exile of French political prisoners, with the most famous being Captain Alfred Dreyfus, who had been accused of spying for Germany. The Dreyfus affair was a scandal extending for several years in late 19th and early 20th century France.
